STEP 1. Steep your favourite brand of chamomile tea

This recipe will work with any chamomile tea of your choice. Teatulia Organic Chamomile Tea is my go-to for these popsicles because it offers a delightful combination of flavour, quality and it’s caffeine free for the kids. The organic chamomile used in their tea is carefully sourced and cultivated, ensuring a pure and vibrant taste. What sets Teatulia apart is their commitment to sustainable and ethical farming practices, which means you can enjoy your popsicles knowing that you’re supporting a brand that cares about the environment. So not only do you get the wonderful benefits of chamomile for cold relief and throat soothing, but you also contribute to a more sustainable world. It’s a win-win situation!

  • Boil 2-3 cups of water to make about 6 popsicles (Can vary depending on your popsicle mold size)
  • The ideal temperature for steeping chamomile tea is around 205°F (96°C)
  • One bag per cup of water is a good rule of thumb
  • Once the water reaches the right temperature, pour it into your heat resistant cup/bowl
  • Let the tea steep for about 5 minutes. This allows the chamomile to release its soothing flavours and beneficial properties.

STEP 2. Add honey!

While your tea is still hot, add around 4 tablespoons of honey. However, feel free to adjust the amount based on your taste preferences. It’s always better to start with a smaller amount and gradually add more if needed. Adding the honey while the tea is still hot will allow the honey to melt perfectly into the tea and provide a smooth consistency for your popsicles. You can add whichever brand of honey you’d like! For me, nothing beats the taste and benefits of OneRoot Raw Honey ! You can then squeeze half a lemon into the cup, however this step is optional!

STEP 3. Pour into your popsicle molds!

When your honey chamomile mixture has cooled slightly but is still warm to the touch, it’s the perfect time to pour it into the popsicle molds. I personally love using these super adorable popsicle molds that I found on Amazon. They come in fun shapes and add an extra touch of cuteness for my kids to enjoy. Simply take your popsicle molds and carefully pour the honey chamomile mixture into each mold, filling them up to the top. Make sure not to overfill them to avoid any spills. Once all the molds are filled, insert the popsicle sticks into each one. Now, pop the molds into the freezer and let them freeze completely. Soon enough, you’ll have these delightful chamomile popsicles ready to enjoy!
